After lurking for quite a while in these forums and doing my own reading up, I've decided to seek help in running my game in a college scenario. I know, there's the college thread stickied up there... but here is where I reckon that I'd get more immediate responses, looking at the date that the last post was sent. School term's started and I've done the usual undertaking and registration for new modules. This means new faces to meet and fresh catch to haul. There is one course, however, that emphasizes on group work, with 50 percent of the grade for it. A friend who was lucky enough to be the only guy in a 6 people-strong group last semester affirmed me that such a situation makes for much more forgiving ground to establish potential LTRs. For starters, we have virtually no possibility for flaking and plenty of chances for interaction and thus slowly fleshing out his full gamut of DHVs, so there is much room for forgiveness. Moreover, it allows him to run group theory early on and establishing the rest of his arsenal on his targets of choice later on. He has been successful in this mission, to say the least. Wanting to emulate his feat, I wanted to try to have a go at being in a group with a high girl:guy ratio. However, the stipulations of group-forming this time are stricter, and present a set of unique challenges. Here are some of the more pressing ones: 1) Upon a given signal, the facilitator will kick start a 20 MINUTES mingle-and-mix socializing gig for us to find group mates. Yes, a class that is approximately 50 - 60 people strong will be asked to get up and go find their partners, and will be given such a short amount of time. Not much chance to pull a full game here. 2) Group size is THREE PEOPLE. Thus, it will be hard to act on group theory here: I might wind up pulling unwanted members into my team, like the ratio-tilting male or the unattractive female if I ignore my target for too long in a mere span of 20 minutes. 3) Cliques and BFGF pairs limit my options here, since my objective is to break in and find straddlers or 2-girl bestie pairs, not cram an entire clique or another male into a minute 3 people group. 4) Course facilitators do state that an ideal group member is one who fulfills a group's needs, and so my DHV up front will be intuitively be academic in nature, which will probably be very boring and pretty much a turn-ff. If I could turn this particular issue on its head, that would be great. Given the the following "special rules" of the game, how would you run your show to get 2 girls, at least 1 which is desirable, into your 3 people group? If there are more details one requires to get a better picture of what I'm going into, I would gladly supply them to the best of my ability. My current game plan is to target obvious 2-girl bestie pairs and talk up the less attractive one, or with some luck snag a girl viable enough (I'm not sure what quantifies as viable here) to use as a pivot to rope in one more girl. I'm a novice at this game thing, and this might be my hardest scenario yet so help will be much appreciated. If I can muster up a viable enough gameplan with your help, I would probably execute it to the letter and come up with a field report! Thanks for reading and helping out! |

just approach and ask, if you grab a girl quick and want another girl, just be the first to point another one out to her and go approach |

I see. Are there any intermediate steps to this? I think there might be some steps involved to get the first desirable girl, which I believe is the harder of the 2. Pickup lines and negging in this context and with those constraints, is it viable? Are there any good approaches to this? Thanks!

Thanks!just tell them that and approach, you will find people looking for the same and can benefit from each other, it doesn't have to be so complicated, a lot of students when it comes to group work are shy and will just be relieved you just asked them in the first place, just make it happen, if you want to game them once they are on your project team you will have quite a bit of time to get to know them and flirt around but actually getting them into your group should be the easy part |

I see, when you put it this way... I guess it can be seen differently. Thanks for putting me at ease and I shall get some pretty lasses in for the ride! |
