I want to discuss something that I have noticed over the last few years in pick up. I have been observing one of my fairly close friends when we go out to the bars together. He does extremely well with women, and most call him a a "great looking guy." Women often approach him to get his number. God gave him a pretty good facial structure and a naturally muscular build, probably an 8 on the male rating scale. But that isn't what makes him exceptionally attractive to women, since lots of other guys at the bars have these also, but don't get the same results. My friend is also pretty introverted, so his success is even more remarkable. What makes him extremely attractive to women, despite his only above average looks, and mediocre social skills, is his body language. My friend has the most naturally alpha male body language of anyone I have ever seen. He is completely comfortable and confident in any situation. He goes from being an 8, to something that most girls would consider a 10 or 11 on the rating scale. What does my friend do in his body language that makes him irresistible? 1. He takes up space, he is not a huge guy, 5'10" 180 pounds or so, but he holds his arms away from his body and he walks with his legs at least shoulder width. He sits in a similar manner. 2. He moves slowly in everything he does- and I mean slower than anyone else I have seen. He moves his drink slowly, he walks slowly, he eats slowly, everything is very slow and natural for him. 3. He sticks his chest out and keeps his back straight. Even when he is leaning back in a chair, his back remains straight. 4. His eyes are always looking slightly up, he seldom looks down unless he is forced to. He also has very slow eye movements. Why is this so beautiful for us? Because you can change your body language in an instant, and become significantly more attractive. If you develop elite body language, you will be surprised at how many girls will stare at you. |

80-90% of communication is nonverbal. By keeping his back straight and sticking out his chest he is exhibiting signs of strength and confidence, thus making the fact that he is an introvert quite irrelevant. Looks help a great deal but if your posture is weak it doesn't give you any justice. Try to mimic his body language and see where it takes you |

Yes. Unlike your friend, I am not a very atractive guy. Like your friend, I project that kind of body lenguage. This was, without a doubt, the most defining factor in my game. I started doing so, not only because I wanted to get girls but, above all, because I worked in law enforcment and felt the need to have and imposing stance and to project an aura of confidence. It worked wonders on several aspects of my life and, as you say, it is a very easy change to make. |
