Post subject:  Any regrets?

Recently becoming a legal adult in the United States I look back and regret how I spent a lot of my time as a child. I wasted a majority of it on activities that have nothing to show for. Time wasters. My life changed for the better and is still moving forward. My question for the older and experienced is what do you wish you could have done, what do you regret, and what stopped you? I'm looking for a variety of answers. I already regret wasting so much time when I was younger sitting around and not talking to girls or having real fun that I want to see if I can fix any present or future issues before it is too late.

I regret any time where I didn't kiss a girl on a date... or any time I didn't close and get a girl's number. All throughout high school and my early 20's.... so many missed opportunities!

but I'm glad i've developed my inner game.

Most of the shit I regret is the stuff I HAVEN'T done out of fear... not the stuff I had the courage to do.

I've even gotten fired from my job 3 years ago for getting on the radio and saying "yippy ky yay motherfucker".... I was told I'd regret doing that. Meh not really. Those are the type of things that make good memories lol. Plus I got a job making double what i did there.

As the guy above mentioned, I only regret the things I haven't done.

I had LITERALLY tons of opportunities and I missed out on a lot of them because I was too anxious to make a move. I've had 10s of girls who I could've slept with back when I was around 15-17, but I only managed to do so with some of them, and I regret that. Good thing is that we all learn, and I learned from my past.

If you're not speaking PUA wise, I regret every moment I spent saying "no" to friends when they used to ask me to hang out with them (I was really young back then, around 12-15)

100% agree with the above posters!! Only things regret are things I didn't do! Some sting worse than others, but that's life take what you can from it and move forward.

Big part of it. I want to make memories that I can look back on when I'm old. That's a great one and i'm getting the theme of regretting things you were afraid to do. That is pretty basic, can you be more specific and with how you overcame these fears?

Want to hear PUA related and non PUA related. Friends are important. I have learned that being with other people makes any experience better. Wish I knew that when I was younger too, grew up trying to be a lone wolf and figure out life by myself.

this is partly pua based, but last year I met this girl she was a boxer basically everything I wanted in a woman. I made a fatal mistake of falling too fast as well as not knowing how badly she was hung up on her ex. Right about the time things started going bad with her I had to get my bloodwork updated for boxing. It didn't come back clear there was a chance it was cancer thankfully it wasn't, but between been worried sick and tore up real bad with oneitis that was the worst couple months of my life!! When I finally got my blodd work straightened out and found out it was cancer I said right then and there I'm gonna have fun no matter what. My rule is never say no to a new, fun, exciting experience.

That's good. I need to find a way to motivate myself like you did, I haven't reached my peak of doing crazy, fun shit all the time yet, but I'm trying to get there.

Pickup-related regrets are always related to a girl I didn't pursue things with. I never regret when I have taken the action that I truly wanted to take, regardless of how it turned out (#close/kiss close/f-close etc.)

I regret not trying harder at things I was talented at, because I am still trying to find direction in my life. Wish I had stayed in education, though I am thinking of returning.

I regret not growing a pair of balls throughout my teens, so many missed opportunities with girls it's hilarious.

All I regret is not going after certain girls throughout my high school years.

Other regrets include using my free time to read more books or join a sports team throughout high school. I could have been a jock, lol. It's all good now. There are alternatives to that. But so far, I did decent.

I can so relate to that. I'm intelligent and like to ride bikes, yet I'm still afraid to raise my hand in class to ask questions or solve a problem, because I don't want to fail. However I have overcome this problem when riding at skateparks. I used to be afraid to ride when good riders were around to avoid looking like a goon when I crash even though I can throw some legit shit. Guess one day I realized that I just don't care what others thought, I had to learn sometime and if I fell, took no shame tried again until I got it. Sometimes they would help me out and even make some great friends.

Question is will trying to speak out in class more often help me out?
How did you overcome your problems?
Are you still dealing with them?
