I'm "seeing" two girls at the moment. Neither are exclusive and both are from different social circles. However they don't really know about each other. I've only known them both a couple of weeks so it's nothing serious.

Anyway, both of them are attending the same party as me on Friday, mutual with friends etc.. have been invited which means both social circles will be there.

I've been flirting like crazy with one of them because I knew she was going to be there and we were planning on hooking up, then I find out the second girl is also going to be there. The second girl is the one I could see myself getting more serious with at some point. How should I play this? I've juggled this situation before in a club where I could sortof bounce around and not have to deal with any awkwardness, but at a house party? Not quite so easy.

Do you have a sister or female cousin that you could bring to the party? If that's an option, you could arrive with the sister or cousin and tell both of those girls individually that you can't really be seen flirting around in front of your shy sister/cousin, and that you want to take care of her during the night and make sure she has a good time.

It's not as hard as it looks. You just better limit your amount of alcohol intake to think correctly and logically. I assume that as a typical house party, these two girls will not talk to one another, but I may be wrong. May be wrong. I would just be social and talk to EVERYONE at the house party. Have a good time, don't escalate too much, keep it simple, like hugs, some little flirty thing here and there. It's all about calibration. Of course make it seem innocent, don't do it blatantly if the girl is 15 feet away. I am speaking from experience.

Unfortunately I don't though that's a great idea! My sisters are both 10 so that isn't really an option.

It's one of those house parties where everyone talks to everyone, it's a very small house so there's unlikely to be more than 20-25 people at the place. Staying sober is definitely something I plan on doing, not escalating that much is a good idea too, though at the same time I don't want them to think I'm not interested.

Nah, seriously, though: Personally, I would be suddenly busy. There are just too many variables that may go wrong, and I would not want to deal with that situation. It's just an hassle. And besides, it's not the end of the world if you lose ONE party. I would just make up some excuse and make it sound like something cool that would make me DHV. A few years back I worked for the police, so the excuse I gave anytime I wanted to flake on a girl was "I have to run an op. Can't talk about it." You can say you have a friend in trouble, or something.

But that's just what I would have done.

I've been thinking about not going.. problem is, it's my best friends birthday gig so I pretty much have to be there. The first girl (the one i'm least interested in) is rather clingy and I know she's going to be following me around the place once she gets a few drinks inside her.

show up late... when they're both extremely drunk. this could either lead to a 3-some or a drunken duel between the 2 girls in a battle for your love & honor.

either way it would make an interesting night.

Or you could just act like it's no big deal... since neither are exclusive. If they throw a fit THEY'RE OVER REACTING! and you can say "hey we never said we were exclusive blah blah blah" then she'll be mad for a while but then she'll be like "ok.... maybe I was over reacting"

Simple: You haven't fucked any one of the two, so you're good.

You definitely have the upper-hand here. You have two girls who want to be with you and it's going to higher your value. Don't worry about it, just go to the party and have a good time, you're not taken (exclusively) yet.
