So obviously sometimes girls will say something like, "Oh my god I look SO FAT!" or something of the sort talking about how they are overweight when its complete bullshit. How does one respond to a comment like that. It's obviously fishing for you to respond with something like "Oh no of course not, you're gorgeous" but that's just feeding their ego and giving them validation. So, what's the proper response? I usually just ignore it and start talking about something else, but maybe there's a better way to handle it.
