Hey guys, I'm not sure whether this situation might be potentially worthwhile pursuing, or not worth bothering with? Here's the deal: Met a girl when out last night in my local bar with friends. We were both with our respective groups of friends, had a beer together as a group, etc. The others were all pretty much talking amongst themselves, so I "gamed" the target. Chat was cool, a bit of teasing, banter, etc, but nothing incredible. I got her number and sent a text this afternoon. It was cocky/funny, generally following on in the same tone as last night's interaction. I basically teased her a bit, then suggested we meet for drinks. Her reply was: "Hi.... (then bla bla fluff talk). I have a boyfriend in progress, so I think I'll just stick with that!" (Bear in mind she's foreign. Her English is good, but not fluent, so sometimes a little bit weird! Haha! I replied: "Boyfriend "in progress"?! Haha! What does THAT mean?!" Her reply: "That means I have a target. I'm waiting for the fruits to fall from the tree! (Smiley face)" For a few seconds, I DID actually wonder whether her "target" is ME, and maybe this was a mild shit test?! But I don't think so. I guess she has some other guy on her radar. Do you fellas think this is worth pursuing or not, and if so, what would you advise me to do next? Cheers guys! |

Yeah, you're probably right & I was thinking the same! Any particular reason why you think that? Or just your general feeling of the situation? Thanks for the feedback! |

She outright rejected you and told you she is interested in someone else. This is about as black and white as it will ever get with a woman. sorry. |

Not only did she reject you, but it was bordering on being harsh. Wait 2 weeks, shoot of a text you never know. Guys on here will tell you to forget about her but no harm in giving it a bit of time and regaming, sometimes it works. |
