This is a Tinder hook up. Texted for a good week. Finally met up for first date. Everything seemed to go very smooth - you know how you can just vibe off each other. Very touchy. Wanted to hold my hand, etc. Quick make out sesh at end because I was double parked in front of her apt. Valet type parking. She texted me on my way home saying she had such a good time. Told her I did as well... yada. yada. yada. She texts the next morning asking how my morning is going. I say great. We talk for a bit. I give it about a day and half then text her ask her what her plans are for weekend (Sunday) she says she has this bbq thing to go to but not sure. I say "ditch the bbq and let me take you out" then she sais okay sounds good. Sunday comes. I text- no response. Then she texts hourls later after saying "She had to help her friend move and she left her phone bla bla bla. I don't answer until the next day. I reply with "I'll forgive you... but just this once" - haven't heard anything since. Been about 2 weeks. I figured if she was really interested she would have contacted. P.S this girl is a solid 9 and is in the Miami scene so probably has a lot of guys at her fingertips. Any suggestions? Did I make a bad move somewhere? Thanks.

Why did you wait 2 weeks?

When you give a chance, you have to initiate as soon as possible because you need to keep the vibe between you both alive.

You didnt even try to set another time, maybe that's why she hasnt contacted you. You warmed her up you had had to keep that lead warm.

Girls with busy social lives can be hard to pin down unless you in their social circle.

Ya I hear ya! I just didn't want to seem like a chump chasing her down when she knew what was happening and could have let me know sooner.

If she picked your delivery up anywhere close to how I did , of course you never heard from her.

That's why delivery is key and so is wording. You just came across as a huge ass throwing out ultimatums at the first sing on inconvenience.

You froze her out too soon I think. What were you waiting for her to do, propose a date? That rarely happens; you should have asked her out again. Now it's just weird after 2 weeks.

It was more of a sarcastic playful tone but I'm assuming she thought I was serious. I'll choose my words more carefully.

I'm sure that's what you intended ,but there's a huge difference between

"I'll forgive you... but just this once"
and
"I might forgive you. Depending on how good the massage you now owe me is , hehe".

The point is to make sure she understands you're being playful. It's easy to misinterpret a message via text since it's harder to transmit emotion through written words rather than spoken ones , so it's sometimes a good idea to compensate in small ways.
A simple "hehe" / emoticon can make a radical difference in her interpretation of your text.
