So the reason is because I have been sheltered most of my teenage years until I was 17, I worked for my parents business since the age of 14,and I got very heavy into drugs until just recently. I find it hard to have motivation for a conversation, most of the time girls go up to me and strike up a conversation, I tend to listen all the time but never make a response. What should I do get my motivation back, I seem to have lost motivation for conversation really even small talk. |

I would suggest that you start talking about something you find interesting yourself. It doesn't matter if you change subject very suddenly, in case the girl is talking about something boring. She will probably find it interesting if you are enthusiastic enough. Tell her about the most memorable trip you've had, or something. As a rule of thumb, talk about experiences you've had in your life. Avoid facts like where you live, what you do for a living etc. You should always try to amuse yourself. So whatever you do, do it because you think it is fun, and ignore the reactions you get. The most important thing of all in pu is to have fun. |

Thank you very much for the feedback, I've always had trouble expressing myself because the people I would be around with would put me down for being different so I shunned myself. |
