So had fight with ex g/f (complicated situation, don't ask) and went to bar then strip club. Met stripper and got a lapdance, and while talking just before, during and after lapdance realized I liked the stripper.

So what now? I know the first rule of stripper game is not to get a dance with the girl but I've clearly screwed that up. Is there any way to repair that kind of situation?

Good post, but doesn't really answer my question. It actually points out I broke even more rules than I thought!

So given that I already screwed up, there's no way forward?

EDIT:

Just a little more info on this...

Things I did wrong: tipped her on stage, watched her dance, got lapdance from her then bought her and possibly the bartender drinks, had too many drinks.

Things I did right: Dressed appropriately, talked to her like a human, didn't overtly flirt except for light kino after the lapdance, ignored other dancers after I had started talking to her.

The only reason I might think she was interested is she continued to hang out with me for 3 hours after the lapdance. She also got up from the table a couple times to gauge my reaction. Oh, and she showed me her license at one point so I saw her real name (we were talking about the new licenses in my state looking dumb.)

That said, the article does bring up a good point on the pitfalls of dating strippers... and she's a smoker so I haven't even decided for sure if I want to pursue. Might go next week and just see how it goes... but if I do end up trying it would be nice to know if there's any way to erase that "customer" tag that's probably stamped on my forehead right now. ;)

Ok, just an update for future generations to learn from. And maybe a little attempt at getting more input...

Skipped a week, partly because I had a date lined up anyway and partly because I'm not really sold on the idea of dating a stripper. But ended up going last night, overall I followed the rules a lot better.

Basically just sat at the bar and had a few drinks, a couple other dances came up and talked to me so I just chatted with them a bit. I actually thought my target wasn't there... but eventually she did stop by.

She almost immediately asked if I wanted to get a dance, and I turned her down. So that seemed like bad news, but after turning her down she stayed around to chat with me for close to an hour... although she did say it was a slow night.

Eventually it was her time to dance, and here's where I may have made a small mistake. I didn't watch her dance, but did go to the bathroom. On the way back she beckoned me over to the stage and we talked a little... she complained no one was tipping, so I ended up tipping her. After which she did her normal "getting a tip" routine, so I think I put myself back into the customer pile. :( The only good sign was that she gave me a quick kiss on the lips at the end of it.

I went back to the bar, had a couple more drinks while checking out my cell phone... she finished her set and didn't come back to talk. So overall thinking she's not interested. Might go next week though and just see what happens.
