That's a weird one, I know. But does making such an offer to a chick make sense? Or do these relationships "just happen? There's a girl at work (we work in the same division but don't work together) who I'm kind of almost friends with, but are in some sort of a "getting there" state. For example, today we've had a new TV room set up for the whole division, and she said "can I come over and watch TV with you?" Anyways, she's hot, but her personality isn't too great. I thought she'd make a great spontanius sex partner. So.. How is it done? Do I just come up to her and say "hey, wanna be fuck buddies?", or is it more complicated than that? |

Fuck buddies isn't really something that you often kind of "pre agree" on. It usually comes after you sleep together for the first time... you know that conversation of.."well what now?" This is when you want to suggest "well I'm not looking for anything serious, but the sex was great so how about fuck buddies? " or something like that. I wouldn't just openly ask her for fuck buddies before you've slept with her.. especially if you work with her and have just been getting the wrong signals.. ha ha that'd be a Sexual harassment charge waiting to happen. So I'd just concentrate on trying to sleep with her first. Then go for fuck buddies. Yours, Yoghurt |

What I meant was not to actually saying "let's be fuck buddies", but to imply it; something like "You know, I'm looking for a fun relationship without commitments, just something spontaneous. Wanna give it a try?" I only get one try though. So if you think this still won't work out, how do I sleep with this girl, who's kinda-sorta friends with me? I'm pretty sure I'm not "in the FZ" since when I first got to know her, there was a certain tension - however, because of a misunderstanding, I thought she has a BF and is just being friendly, so nothing happened. Note: If I'd like to, I can ride with her to work, and pick her up to work every now in then. She suggested it to save fuel, but I'll have to wake up 15-20 minutes earlier so I gave it up. I can still call it on if I'd like though. |

See the first response. You have to have sex with her first. Every interaction you have with her that doesn't lead to sex diminishes your chances, so if you aren't in a situation where the logistics are right, dont do anything. |

In general, it just happens. Don't ask, that is just weird. Be like, sure, come over.

Fury, just making sure you realized that the TV is in their work place. Op, I personally advise against you watching tv together all friendly at work....unless you can parlay that into a trip to your house or can get away with smashing it in the office. May be difference of opinions here, so take it either way. |

Oh, my bad, I thought she meant come over to his HOME and watch TV ...yes, I agree with you, do not make moves in the office.

So, how do I have sex with her? Invite her in a friendly manner (or rather, romantic manner?) to have a drink, go to a pub and have fun, take a cab and suggest "what the hell, let's go to the same place"? Or should it be a bit more creative? |

Leverage the carpool idea for a night out, preferably with a group, just in case she isn't into you. The rest is up to you. I'm giving you advice on how to do this, but I honestly cannot condone sex with coworkers- it almost always ends badly. I've seen it work a few times when two ppl are desperate and literally have no other social life or options outside of the office. In those 2 cases im mentioning, they got married, so shit never hit the fan. |
