So I'm not gonna lie, I feel very strongly about this girl and have thought about our situation a lot lately. I've been having sex with other girls while I figure our situation out so I wouldn't exactly call it oneitis. We've been friends for years and she recently go out of a relationship. I know she liked me a year ago and tried to make a move, but I brushed it off because she's a relationship girl and I did not want one at the time. Fast forward to now, I'm looking for something more meaningful than just sex and I'm not sure if she is still into me. I want to make sure she still doesn't think of me as a friend even though I haven't made a move yet, but how do I do this if we have been friends for so long and sort of rejected her advances at one point? What i'm asking is how do I transition from our usual friend-like interactions to one where we both know its leading towards being more than friends? And like I said, we've been friends for a very long time and I'd hate to lose her completely, which is why I don't want to all the sudden turn the switch all the way to relationship vibes. |

Don't talk about the relationship, act it. Start escalating SLIGHTLY every time and building up more escalation over-time. DON'T EVER bring up the "what are we" topic up. The more escalation you do, the more turned on she will get. If you do it correctly, you can get laid and then the thing will unfold itself. I used to have a friend whom I knew for around 8 months. One night, I escalated and she was going through a break-up. I was surprised that she accepted me and we ended up doing crazy stuff that night but no sex. But you probably get the point by now. |

She's a very shy girl so I think having any sort of talk would not go well. You mention escalation and I've read the dicarlo escalation guide so do you mean to do all nonverbal escalation? Or should I throw in some verbal, direct escalation as well (and if so, how? I'm not really a direct guy)? Like I said she's sort of reserved so I don't know how verbal escalation would really go with her.

I think the most important advice has already been given - Don't talk to her about being in a relationship and avoid the "what are we" talk at all costs. Other than that just be yourself. You are a guy who wants this girl - behaive like it rather than verbally express it.If you get this frame fully lodged in your head, she will pick up on it and be attracted to you. She will probably recipricate the feelings of attraction, and you just physically escilate it from there. This situation is all about confidence in the sense you have to make this girl feel confident that you want her, since you rejected her in the past. When she gets that feeling she will recipricate it and you are on your way to pound town. |
