So over the years, i got a chipped tooth, not bright white, and getting crooked. I am planing that once i get a good job in this sorry economy, that I will spend the cash to get everything done, tooth repair, whitened and braces even if I do it in my mid 30s. For now, minimum wage jobs and alot of credit bills won't allow me to take care of that. Now with that said, I do feel a lack of confidence in my smile. Is there any way to overcome this? Flashing a smile at a female goes along way towards opening them up, but I am afraid my teeth looking not the best may be a turn off. Im not missing any teeth or anything. Mine aren't as bad as say japanese teeth are. I groom my eyebrows, clean shave and what not, to hopefully distract from noticing the teeth. |

Theres one thing I've learned about women in all my years of being around them... And you know what that is? " If it doesn't bother you, it won't bother them ". I'm no physiologist but I do know that the trick is to just expose your insecurities as much as possible. Soon or later you'll get over it. I doubt your teeth are half as bad as you think so don't make too much of a deal about it. If you want to get them fixed later on; thats great. But for now, we're here and lets enjoy being here as much as possible. Stay strong bro.. Everybody has something. Rememeber that. |

This is it exactly. You know what dude? Tell yourself that you have the best fucking smile out there that could make any woman's panties soaking wet. Seriously... Look at this video.. Brad is a really good friend of mine. He got BLASTED in the face on The Real World by Darrell (a professional boxer) and I've seen him get popped in the mouth on 2 other occasions myself. Plus, he chews tobacco. His teeth are BEYOND fucked. Yet, girls tell him ALL THE TIME how he has "such a pretty smile" because HE TRULY DOESN'T GIVE A FUCK... Plus, look who he's married to...

I am not saying that all crooked teeth are bad looking, I am just giving advice on how to fix the main turn offs for girls when it comes to teeth. Those are not how strait your teeth look but the color and the smell of your breath. As the daughter of a dentist, it doesn't take much money to fix some of this. Step 1: Whitening You need to brush everyday with a whitening toothpaste, or 99cent baking soda, rinse with a fluoride mouthwash, and floss. The reason you need to floss is because if you don't not only will you have a million cavities because of your crooked teeth but when you go to the dentist you will have to pay to fix more problems than just the broken tooth. Step 2: Go to the dentist. It might seem stupid, but your chipped tooth could be housing tons of wretched bacteria that is stinking up your breath. If you don't fix it the possible breeding ground sooner or later it will become a problem. While some dentists charge an arm and a leg there are those who won't. To have a chipped tooth fixed shouldn't take more the 150$ in US currency and if you are getting a cleaning which you should, shouldn't cost more than 230$. It seems like a lot of money, but if you are willing to see your primary doctor for a cold don't skip the dentist. It is actually a necessary part of your yearly medical SPAM. People have died or become very ill from not seeing the dentist a.ka. losing their jaws because of an infected cavity, brain infection, heart attack from the acid of not changing dentures, and death. The dentist would also probably work with you to create a payment plan. Step 3: These are some tricks to fix your teeth yourself Also are your teeth excessively crowded (overlapping one another) or are they gaped? Do you have an over or underbite? If they are just gaped you can get this company dental-lab-direct to move your teeth back into place. If you have crowding, talk to the dentist when you go and see if he can suggest an extraction so that your teeth have room to move. If your jaw is out of line (over or under bite) your health insurance might pay to have it fixed because it is a medical problem that has consequences (i.e. inability to chew or bite through your food, airway obstruction, tissue damage to the mouth and gums, speech problems or temporomandibular joint disorder) and it can make your jaw look better. Otherwise you are out of luck until you pay for braces because crowding is a difficult type of braces to create. |

What JoeySkillz said. You don't even have to smile with your teeth. Smile with your eyes or mouth closed. |
