Extremely long story short. I dated a girl for a few years....5 years ago. We were both very young. We went through some problems, some caused by me some by her. She ended up cheating....I handled it extremely poorly. Now 5 years later is giving me signs that she wants to try it again. Asking me to meet up, telling me she has always missed me etc. I'm hesistent because I loved this girl like no one else and she crushed me. I wouldn't mind banging her some more...but I'm seriously afraid my emotions for her will start up again. The first time around it took me a long time to move on. Not sure how to handle this? |

5 years is a long time. After 6 or 7 months of no contact we started to be friends, live in the same town and even run around in somewhat of the same social circle. I recently started talking to another girl, who while extremely cool is being somewhat flaky. Ex might be getting jealous? even though I have been in many other relationships she has known about. Not sure how to play it though, don't think I can see both because as I have said we live in same town which is pretty small. |

BE CAREFUL. I once fell into the same trap. She might be using you as a rebound for the guy she's having sex with or her boyfriend/ex-bf. I'd say go for it. Have fun, but don't catch any of that feelings shit. Be casual and get laid. At least that's what I would do after being separated for 5 years...If things worked out in the long run, you might as well get back to her, but don't be short-term-focused. Good luck |

Sound advice, she did just recently get out of a relationship but it wasn't serious. She has many other options though as she is hot as fuck. I'm going to try to hit it some more and attempt to keep my feelings at bay. We will see where it goes? |
