| Post subject: | An interesting observation I made |
I was out in the city this week with some friends, and my best friend's ex appears out of nowhere. She ignores her ex after exchanging hi and 3 kisses, and I call her over. She happily comes over and starts talking to me. We exchange some words, ask how we're doing and how school is going and whatnot. You know, the usual banter. I make her laugh a couple of times by teasing her a bit. After the teases she decides to parrot me (say what I say to annoy/tease/whatever me), after 3 sentences of this I lean back and fold my arms over each other and look away like I'm uninterested. Now she starts qualifying herself and tries to get the conversation going. 1. Is this is a good thing? I think it's a push technique, and after this you have to pull, am I correct? If so, how do I pull exactly. 2. Did this work because I already know her and already had rapport/comfort build with her? I am more attractive and funny than I think I am, I just got to loosen up. I forgot to add that we greeted each other with 3 kisses, it started like so. She said 'Don't you want 3 kisses from me?' to which I replied 'You want 3 kisses from me' then she was the one who bent in and gave me 3 kisses, which I returned. I suppose that's a good thing, turning it around like that making it seem like she's the one who wants it (which was actually true). |
