It's just like when someone breaks up with you, what are you going to do chase after them and profess your undying love? It'll only push them farther away. The more you try and tell someone what you want the less they'll want the same thing as you, you have to make your want known and then give the space for them to decide if they want the same thing.

Also why do you need to lie? I'm not trying to trash talk but if you end up in a LTR based on lies what good will that do you? You're making progress good for you, but try and avoid game playing it's not healthy and it'll probably only get you as far as SNL, which is great if that's all you're looking for, but I think not since you're talking about oneitis.

Final thought: oneitis is where you want to end up, it's not your starting point, if you start off with oneitis chances you'll win her over are slim to none because you're expected to outcome, are attached, etc. It's a losing hand. Though you can date several girls then develop oneitis for one of them, that's probably the best situation.
