Hey, guys. Just taught I'd share a story and see if you can figure this girl out.
So, here's the rundown of the situation: The security firm I work for was hired to upgrade the security system on my local police station. Replace standard door locks with keycard high security locks, upgrade the servers and CCTV gear, institute new practices on how to transmit and handle sensitive data and train some key personel on the proper use of this equipment. Anyway, since I worked (briefly) on that same police station when I was in college my CO tasked my with running that operation.
On my team I have two interns to do the "grunt work", one is pretty average and uninteresting, so let's forget about her. The other is an HB9 (could be a 10 if she had bigger boobs) with a great personality. The kind of girl that although being extremely hot is easy to talk to. And we share a few common interests, too. I just met this girl 3 days ago and we instantly clicked, facebook chatted, the whole shazam. Now, I have a gf and I'm happy with her so I played no game on this girl (well, maybe a little game but no escalation). The thing is, I get a sense that she is constantly shit-testing me.
Right from the first day I met her, she said she is "crazy about cops", has dated a few and complained there are no hot cops on that station. She braught up this conversation a few times and it always ends up with "anyway, I'm through with cops. They are all assholes".
One time we were having lunch togather and she asked if I had noticed the "officer with green eyes at the reception desk". I said "Yeah, I noticed. Don't know who he is though, must have started after I left the service". She said "Yeah, he's kinda cute". This felt like a shit-test and I have a gf, so I just said "Well, you're a cute girl. Just go talk to him". She said "Nah, he's married. I noticed the ring on his finger. And I'm through with cops anyway".
Today we lunched togather (and alone) again, but this time it was in the station's cafeteria. Now, this one is rich. Just after a few minutes chatting, she said "You know what? Jane Smith (the other intern, not her real name, obviously) asked me if I have a boyfriend, just out of the blue. And I was like, no... and then she didn't say anything else. What's the deal with her?" This felt like another shit-test, I said "well, maybe she has a brother on the market". She replied "Or maybe she's lesbian". I said "Well, if you two want a threesome, I'm down". She laughed and said "Yeah, I bet you are". Then we just laughed it off and dropped the matter. A few minutes after that, and this one is quite remarkable, a cop passed through the hall and she just jumped off the table, ran to the door and peeked in the hallway. Then she sat back and said "nah, he's not as hot as he seemed. The officers here are all too old for me". She's 22, I'm 26, the guy was on his early to mid thirties, is she trying to tell me something? And finished off with the now standard "I've dated cops before and I'm through with them".
Also, keeping with the law enforcement theme, after lunch we stopped a minute to look at a few guns and other artifacts on display cases at the lobby and she kept making sexual innuendo jokes with "handcuffs", "big guns" and "extendable batons, the ones that look small and grow large when you use them".
WTF guys? Is this girl crazy? Is she really that easy-going? Or is she really into me even without any effort on my part. I've never met someone like this before.
