I just had a med student I went on a date with (who I texted last night, and she responded "Oh, I've been thinking about you lately!") tell me that she failed her exams. How do I respond to something like that? Complete subject change? It's sortof a downer (and also kindof a turnoff). How do you deal when a girl brings up a negative conversation topic without being like "Awww, you'll do better next time!" |
