I've known this girl for several months now. We have a really good time together and things have been highly sexual almost from the start. She's a single Mom and still dealing with issues from a very recent divorce. She's a school teacher so summer was great times, but school has now started and she says that she feels immensely overwhelmed and stressed, as can be seen in her txt this morning: " Well......good morning to you too.....hey...um....ive been thinkin....and well.....i cant date you right now....i have to focus which is V ERY HARD for me to do.....focus on fixing my stupidity before jumping into a relationship....i see me falling for you too hard right now....i have to ta ke some time....so....i have to wait....." This caught me quite off guard, since we saw each other this weekend and everything was as hot as it always is. All of this seems like relationship fears, akin to LMR type stuff. Maybe the common fears that people use to push away good relationships when they're afraid that they might lose them instead. Who knows. In any case, stuff like this is really something that I don't want to put up with. I've toyed around with the idea of just saying See ya later, and check back up with her next summer. Haha! Still I figured I should at least give things one last shot: "... you're gonna call it quits over a txt? Relationship faux pas! Hahaha! But seriously, I hear what you're saying. You do have a ton on your plate. And with school starting up, things probably doubled. If not more. However, I don't want things to be left hanging all nebulous like they are at this moment. You and I have built up a good thing. To throw it all away and let it all go, that would be losing something great. And I don't want that to happen for me or for you. You're busy at school right now though, so let's talk about this for a little bit later tonight after all this kids are settled, Ok? Chin up. You are worth having the best..." So what is everybody's eval of my response? Is it beta, clingy, desperate, weak, sincere, sappy, over the top, genuine, or is it so Alpha that it will become Community standard from here on out? Hahaha! If nothing else, I can learn from this to make future game better. |

It's all good bar the last bit "You're worth having the best..." Drop that line and the "Chin up" bit. Rest was perfect imo. |

A bit too long in my opinion, but honestly, when women send these messages, there isn't much you can do but give them time. When I get dumped I just say, yea I hear you, I was thinking the same or something like that. They usually don't expect that and it makes them feel much more comfortable to keep in contact with you etc. and then you can rekindle easily after giving them some space.
