Hey guys, trying to work out this HB9. Its a little complicated and a longish story. However, with this going on 12 weeks now, some clarity from my brothers would be awesome. Her 27, 2 kids HB9+. Pulled her number when she served me buying some aftershave at a dept store. Me 38 (I look 27-30), divorced, 2 kids, business consultant and studying my MBA. With such busy lives, we dont get much time together. It took a month before we made time for our first coffee. Then I pulled her for a date the next week. Dinner, pool then my place. I fucked this up because I didnt even K close. I read her body language wrong and so I've paid the price (ie no rewards). With a really strong C/F text game I pulled her for a movie the following Friday, then a bar to see my crew. Lots of social value here. Next day i was at BJJ training and I broke my ankle (sweet spider guard sweep that went wrong). Next day, pulled her for coffee, and to surprise her with the busted leg. The next 3 weeks she flakes twice, keeps the chit chat going, so I froze her out, not expecting to see her again, I start to pull in another HB7 couger that i pushed out in June. Surprisingly HB9 messages me a week later (Friday night), she comes over for a zombie movie and to go out for pizza with my crew. Again no escalation, my broken leg put a mental block out there, so I stupidly held back. I lunch with HB7 the next day. 2 Days later HB9 meets my kids over coffee at a local cafe. She says she adores them, etc etc. The next 2 weeks get even more weird as she flakes all 3 invites. First week, she is babysitting for a friend. She had an invite to my place, as I was having a drinks night with friends. At first she didnt say why she wasnt coming, then texts me thru the evening, and the next evening to see how my night was. The next week, I try to organise her for Friday dinner in Melbourne to see the fireworks - last for the winter season. She has her kids that night, tries to get a sitter, but no luck. Then we organise a movie at mine on Sat even tho I have my kids that night. I told her no funny business while the kids are around - I thought this would give her plausible deniability if she needed it. She flakes on the night "family emergency". Haven't heard from her yet 3 days later, however she is moving house this week and I expect her to be busy and unavailable all week. We spent an hour and a half on the phone Wednesday last week. She tells me some really personal stuff that she never told anyone else, except for the family counselor her and the ex used before she dumped him. I give her some of my history and took the convo to a really philosphical level. She qualified me with the following: - I'm really funny and wity and cheeky - I make her think about things in a different way - I'm really patient with her - I'm really smart So my headspace is kind of half half at this point. Is she really busy, or playing me?? Since she invested a lot more last week, i'm inclined to lean towards she's busy, however the flaking is testing my patience to it's limit. I'd REALLLLLLLY love to bone this one, since she is soooo hot. So i guess im suffering a little oneitis here. I have invited the HB7 over later this week in order to get over the oneitis. My question to the forum is this. Should I continue to freeze her out till she contacts me or reach out first and see what the "family emergency" was all about. My concern is if she is genuine, then I look like a dick for not checking up on her. What do you guys think? Cheers Mixar |

You may have missed your opportunities when she was over your place to be honest. This sounds more like she is trying to end it w/you and hoping you just stop contacting her. I would not contact her anymore and try to move on. At least you know for next time you always need to be escalating. Don't be afraid of rejection, if she likes you the worst thing that will happen is there will be an awkward moment you will both forget about in 5 minutes. |

The problem is that you had too many mental excuses and did not escalate. As you said, you are both pretty busy with works, especially that she has kids. You gotta stop dancing around and get to the point, if she rejects your advance, just ignore it and try again later on. |

You've created a scenario where she thinks you are considering her for a long term relationship or friendship. I reckon you have lost the opportunity for strictly sexual shenanigans. When you introduced ur kids to her....think about what she was thinking. She doesn't need to know ur kids before she spreads legs. |

She is a single mom with two kids. Shit's gonna happen. She's checking up on how you're doing, so she obviously cares. GABAPYCO. If you think this girl is relationship material why don't you plan a little something for the two of you? If you're not looking for a relationship then you are putting way too much effort in all the wrong places. |

All great feedback here guys. My gut has told me I've missed the opportunity for sex, so I began using more innuendos and actually addressed the first date directly with her last week. Hoping to increase the sexual vibe between us. I do see her as a possible LTR which is why I'm making so much effort. Otherwise its just not worth it! If she is checking up on me, then she probably will again in the future. Until then, balls in her court. HB7 will keep me occupied until further notice! Cheers Mixar |
