why can't I complete mission 3 of "Rules of the Game"?

Post subject:  why can't I complete mission 3 of "Rules of the Game"?
I had made 20 phone-calls to ask for the recommendation of a movie. But I'd got no recommendation. I got some kinds of replies like these:

1. uh... I have no idea about that, I really don't know, sorry.
2. you dialed the wrong number, OK? I don't know you.
3. Who's that? Wrong number!(hang up)

In these 20 phone-calls, 13 ones are rejection, and 7 ones are "I don't know".

Can you tell me what are the important points in this mission.
And I'd like to listen to your success audios.

Hmm... been a long, long time since I read the book, BUT I'm guessing from your description that this isn't about success. It's about getting you used to failing. So you got 13 rejections, how do you feel?

I feel low, I even could not chat with my friend freely just now. I have a feeling of wanna give up(but I will not). I thought this mission is easy and I had a lot of confidence before.

Why do you feel low, though? So what if those 13 people blew you off... does it have any actual effect on your life? The only reason you feel bad now is because you're dwelling on it, thinking of how you "failed." The reality is it's in the past, it happened and it's over unless it lives on in your mind. Stop caring about those rejections, and you stop feeling low.

To be completely honest with you I don't feel that some point of this challenge make any sense at all. Phoning up random strangers like that is creepy simple as that. Why? Because you are not phoning them to genuinely want to know about a movie.

If you want to get used to rejection. Go and tell a girl that she is pretty and you like her. That's a lot better and at least you will be happy with yourself that you had the balls to do it. And that will give you confidence.
At least for me it worked this way.

Maybe 'AFCToTheMax' is right, I really don't want to get any movie recommendation, and I don't know how to reply them when they get unexpected response.

I also had a really hard time with this challenge. I sat in the garden with my mate and dialed numbers from his phone trying to get movie recommendations. I called 30 people and got no movie recommendations. I don't know if you're American or not, but in England I don't think we talk about movies or go to the cinema as much... My friend suggested I ask for tv show recommendations and I quickly got 2 (Game of Thrones and Suits).

I know you're not supposed to skip challenges but I don't think that challenge was supposed to be this hard. Why don't you move on to the next day? I'm onto opening now and didn't feel this made a difference

This is a terrible exercise btw, it does not help your game that much since all you do is just being friendly, people will feel obligated to be nice to you.

Try this - walk up to a girl and ask her if she want to fuck - yes you will get slapped sometimes, you will get lucky sometimes depending on the venues. But in all, you'll learn that women are pretty replaceable and it doesn't matter what the fuck you say, as long as you're confident and have decent inner game.

Btw, do not do this to a teenager at the mall please.

I am a Chinese in China. I have omitted that mission and have finish the 4th one, Today I get my 5th one. Thank you.

Yesterday, I went outside into my campus to use Sasha's opener: don't be scared, I'm a nice guy. I'm here just want to tell you that you are very beautiful.

I only got one girl to use this opener, because I was the scared one. AA problem. Really afraid of approaching to a beautiful girl.I loathe myself. :lol:

I got it, years ago. I picked it up, read a chapter or two, and thought "wow, this is ridiculous bullshit. Who the hell would do this crap?" and put it down.

Never looked back.

I recommend you do the same.

That method is going to get you absolutely nowhere.

Just make some friends and learn how to hold a conversation. There's no reason to purposefully to do things that will make you feel bad, it's stupid.
