Hi
I had been thinking about this line for a long time. Today I was just on the street by this coffeeshop and I thought "The next girl I see, I swear I will use that line on her."
so this girl got out of the coffeeshop and started walking towards me, and I said "you are so ugly"
she walked a little past me, then turned around, and said "that's not very nice" I felt so bad for her, it seemed like my words hurt her :(
but I was frozen and didn't know where to go from here, I hesitated a little and didn't know what to say. So she just started walking away, now her back was facing me. As she was walking away, I said "It's just a joke" but she ignored that and continued walking away.

I am not a bad dude, I feel really bad about this and I was just experimenting.

so now my question: I wonder if "you are so ugly" pick up lines work? and if yes, what kind of girls does it work on?

Wtf? What will be the next one? "Yo mamma so fat..." pick-up lines? Please stop this nonsense. It's okay you were experimenting, but you have seen that (how unbelievable?!) it doesn't work at all.... Insulting the girl is not how you get her. At least not according to my experiences.

If you plan to experiment on your own openers, here's the formula dude on how to make 'em.

  • Emotional Rollercoaster Ride = Up. Down. Up. Down. Up. Down.


"You are ugly" goes downhill. Start with something that brings her up and when she reacts to that (her eyes lit up, she smiles, she giggles), then that's the time you say something that will bring her emotions down. When she reacts to that, bring it up again, and then down, up, down, up...

Here's one sample that I've used a lot of times infield:

PUA: Hi there. You look like an angel... [Up.]
Girl: (Face lights up and smiles.) Thank you.
PUA: ...of darkness. [Down.]
Girl: WTF? (Sulks, smirks and what have you.)
PUA: Did you know that the most handsome and beautiful angels were kicked out of heaven and thrown down in hell? [Up.]
Girl: (Giggles.) Oh, come on. Are you saying that I look like a devil?
PUA: Well, I would imagine you'll be someone like Lucifer, except that you lack muscles and a mustache. [Down.]
Girl: (Frowns.) Are you saying that I look like a man?

If you are going to dream up these off the wall opening lines, at least have some way to respond to her reaction. What you don't want to do is put yourself in a situation, you don't know how to react to what she says. No, it didn't bother her unless she is actually ugly. She just see's you as another common idiot.

That's how you keep a conversation going. This is actually what happens in every conversation that you have at some point or another. People are entertained by drama. The style of this conversation creates drama. On a social level, it's doesn't appear like this is a healthy interaction, but on a psychological level, the interaction is actually fun for both parties. Key word there: fun. Being FUN lets you get away with being a horny bastard. Don't be all serious with the negativity otherwise you will just come off as a psycho, creep the girl out, and she will run away from you like you tried to rape her. As always, delivery is the most important part.
