I've been texting a girl I met 6 wks ago. Mostly cocky/funny/roleplay/flirty so far and she likes it. We're both over 30 so juvenile, stupid texts are a bad idea. She's also Pakistani (muslim) so sexual innuendo is a no-no.
We have been on two short coffee dates but couldn't meet up for various reasons since. We're supposed to finally go out on a real date next Sat, but lately I've been worrying about keeping the texts fun and "alive" (keeping interest after 5 wks of texting is NOT easy!). I don't text her more than once every 2-3 d, to stay scarce. She still always responds but I can feel the interest decreasing on both sides.
Since I'm starting to worry she'll flake, I want to make sure my texts this last week are good.
She's in LA today / tomorrow. LA translates to the "City of Angels" which offers great possibilities... but I need to keep it "clean."
Options:
1. "Hey <nickname>. I hear the City of Angels gained another angel today. Have a great time."
2. "Hey <nickname>. Remember, you are in the City of Angels now so no be a good girl
Have a great time."3. "Hey <nickname>. I can't believe they let a such a bad girl into the City of Angels. Have a great time."
4. Ignore her so I'm not "needy" or risk saying something stupid, and text her when she's back on Mo or Tue. However I lose a great chance at using her current location and the angel angle, and miss an opportunity to show I'm thinking of her at an event that's important to her.
Could 1-3 be construed as AFC or "needy" as I'm wishing her a good time? If not, is 1) is too sappy since I'm calling her an angel? Or 3) might be taken the wrong way (small chance she considers it hinting at sex)? Option 4) has me worried too since we don't text all that much anymore compared to before, and I want to keep the flame going until at least next Sat when we finally have a date planned.
