I feel like it would...maybe stopping people in the street could be more difficult if someone is late but stationary seems like it would be the same method...thoughts?

Every time you fail with a girl, your social proof in her circle of friends goes down. All of our "shyness" and AA circuits evolved exactly for this reason. Humans evolved in small groups and needed to be careful about their propositioning, so they wouldn't become a social outcast. Direct game is best left for strangers you'll never see again. Also I never said you can't come off as a creep doing indirect. Most guys doing PUA might as well tatoo "weirdo" on their forehead. However, even a good looking charming guy is going to hurt his social proof by failing while approaching too aggressively.

Unless i am mistaken, college campus is where you go when you finish high school right? So we should already have outgrown the teenage shit a bit. The entire fact that you think about how people would think about you when you fail will never make you 'the man', no matter how you turn it. To be 'the man' you need the balls to not care what other people think about you. Social proof is everything, but its not like there is only 50 people in campus. Its not so that all the other people on campus are the closest friends. Its not so because you fail this one time, that everybody is suddenly against you. Its only so in your mind. The fact that everybody would talk bad about you is an illusion, a fear, like a needle in your mind that stings everytime you want to approach. Dont care what people think about you. I rather have them think i am a creep and went for what i want then just yap about how much i want to fuck that cute girl and not do anything. Besides, i dont know if you are aware, but your opener is quite direct as well, but in a superficial way i think. I think the line would be so much better if you would just say: hey, i havent seen you around before. And then just expect answer from her. Have the balls to expect something from her. cheers
