| Post subject: | Blind Date Tomorrow |
I got hooked up to go on a blind date by a friend of a friend. I looked her up on facebook and is somewhat attractive so I thought wtf and hit her up via text a few times then called. I kept the call super brief 3 or 4 minutes and told her we should meet up for a drink. I decided to meet her at bar/restaurant, much more of a restaurant than a bar though. Anyway my question is if I'm not feeling it, how do I end the drinks without having to then sit through dinner? Is there any good way to do this? I have been on one other blind date that started with drinks, then dinner, a walk around campus and then back to her place. I have never been on a blind date where I wanted to end it early and am confused on how to do this. Would like to know ideas on how to do this just in case. Thanks |

Thanks If you're not feeling it to the point you wanna end it just say indirectly end it by finishing your drink and saying I'll get the tab and as you get up if your wearing a jacket take it so she'll get the hint its time to go. Or pay the bill and just come back don't sit down act like you're ready to leave she'll catch on right quickly those are the 2 strategies I've used before. Just make it a fun exciting date that you both enjoy and you won't have to worry about having an exit strategy good luck. |

Whenever I'm not feeling a date I finish whatever I'm having and ask for the check. You'll figure out what to do. Just remember that you're wasting your precious time, and if you can leave in a non-dick manner, you won't do anything wrong. Either way, something I've done before as well was get one of my boys to text me in the middle of the date. It was with someone whom I had no sexual interest in but I wanted to find out more about her business. He texted me saying "Accident. Call me ASAP." I checked it nonchalantly and told my date its content. The plan was to eject if I needed to. I stepped away and called him. Since everything was going well, I came back to the table and told her everything's fine. |
