how much does the way you look matter? I am not talking about being "good looking" like brad pitt, but like the things you are wearing, your hair, your shoes.
let's say someone is very confident but his clothes look like shit, his hair is like a homeless guy, and his shoes are all torn. does this make a difference in rejection rate?

thats just a dumb question

Looks matter but they arnt the most important thing for woman, unlike men, in which they are the most important thing.

The main things that new guys dont realize is that all the best cloths and pumping up and getting ripped has a marginal effect in most cases. Get to average and you are in the game look wise. However rather then hitting the gym for the 7th time this week or buying your third Italian suit, try opening 100 girls instead. Its much cheaper, easier, and more effective

It's much more important to be not bad looking than to be good looking.

As Detox said, there are more important things than your hair and clothes. If you're asking whether it affects the rejection rate, it does. Would you want to talk to a girl who smells like fish, hasn't brushed her hair, and has a big shit stain on her half-torn booty shorts?

society is shallow and most of the women who look good are extremely shallow

dress your best, keep the best body you can (stay in shape), and try styles to max out your looks

Look at people like Nick Vujicic or fucking Magathma Ghandi. One guy has no arms or legs, the other one was really bald, thin and dresse very poorly. I don't think they got a lot of girls but the got girls and that's because of their inner game. If you put a big turd in your pocket and go at sarging it will not be imposible but it will be a true challenge to show you actual inner game.

Also almost all of my clothes are ripped, stained with bleach and paint but I have no problem getting girls using this attire it also makes you stand out from the bunch of italian guido/open shirt afc's that crod the clubs if you manage to arrange it in a way it looks cool.

Looks matter. A lot. There are things you can control and there are things that you can't. You should always be on top of your clothing, take care of your body and grooming. Do the best you can with the genes you've got.
I always see the argument here that looks don't matter all that much, but mostly the game you've got. The problem with this is that it gives a nice exuse for guys to stay lazy and not working on their looks.
You have to work on both, game and looks.
Especially guys that are inexperienced with girls need to fix looks first, because they will feel better about themselves which helps with game and they will get more positive response from women which again will help them in the long run.
So yeah, looks matter. A LOT. Work on stuff which you have control over, go to the gym, buy nice clothes, wear clothes that actually fit you. Once you've got that covered go work on your game.

looks matter but looking your best matters more. Put in effort and that effort will show in your confidence and the way women perceive you. Women want a guy who cares about himself and how he appears whether or not he is good looking.

Well society fuck us all the time, what i mean is:
If you are hot: Girls think that you are not man for them because you game all the girls and they don't want to suffer - also they judge and shittest you all the time.
If you are ugly: Well girls don't approach you, you have to approach them.

Your genetics doesn't matter since you take care of yourself and you look a healthy man <- this you can do by yourself!
Also guys, we all think the same about girls, i got interested about a few ugly ones before, and for awhile they become pretty somehow, now when i look back in time i think: Wtf was that? Well you know that human beings work by emotions, we connect by the amount of emotions we can get for a person, even friends\relationships\whatever.

So looks doesn't really matter, looks are society created, but you can change that with a healthy look and an attitude (attitude = amount of emotions that you can create to a person)

So take care on what you can take care of and change it to become perfect.
Dress like a man, take shower and do a cool haircut.
If you are bald you might need to shave your hair and get some tan.

But what i mean is: Don't worry about this looking thing, practice to get a better attitude and you'll achieve what you want (not even girls). This is how people use to say: With attitude you can achieve what you want. Right? Somehow makes sense doesn't it?!

If you dress too well and smell too good, most girls will say, "He's gay." Your rejection rate will be higher this way. If you suit up on very expensive clothes and you go to a college party where all dudes are in grunge jeans, then most girls will be uncomfortable around you. You'll be like a sore thumb sticking out of the crowd. You will get rejected a lot more than when you go with the flow and slightly improve on the standard attire.

Hint: Do not go overboard and the keys are in the vibe and propinquity. How?

1. Even when your clothes look like shit and your Chuck Taylor's are torn, always project a masculine vibe. Masculinity attracts more feminine women than the way you dress.

2. You can dress well but not too well that you're out of place in a particular venue. The way you dress should quickly build comfort with your particular girl demographics.

3. Accentuate your cock area with shiny things instead of overdecorating your head or face with peacocking items. It is more efficient this way because you will know at once which girls are horny with your vibe since they will keep on looking and looking at your cock.

4. Get more exposure out there. Looks will get you in the door with a lot of girls, and then you can show off your personality/game.

For guys, good looks are about 80% of what we look for in a partner.

For girls, good looks are about 50% of what they look for.

Often a girl will see you get better looking before her eyes if you have a great personality.

It's an endless discussion if you ask me, it also depends on what you refer to as ''good looking''.

Genetics? Society promotes good looking genetics, commercials, movies, everything. Does it really matter on the field? I believe for some it does and for some it doesn't. If You're 220 pounds with perfect game girls will still get cockblocked by sight, if you're normal looking, then your game will get you laid, if you are hot looking with perfect game, you will outshine the normal looking with perfect game. So in that regards, looks do matter. I think why people refer to looks dont matter is because 99% of men are AFC if you catch my drift. All in all, it depends on context if you ask me, there is no generalization on this one.

Clothes, proper shaving, hair? It does, the first impression is often the gamebreaker in pick-up. It doesn't mean you have to mimick the way succesful people take care of themselves, just have your personality reflected in the way you take care of yourself. I'm not saying the entire first impression are your looks, but if you look like shit as mentioned a few posts above, and you have a good game, the looks will still make the line look thin. A good combination will make gaming a lot more easy.
