Here's what's up I've been talking to this girl at a clothing store laid some really solid groundwork. We were talking about clothes what not that convo died out so I got it going again talking about where she's from among other things. I would rate it 9 out of 10 not 100% sure if she single but I don't care I am gonna try for her. My major weakness is # closing a girl after we've talked for a while I need some help on #closing this girl how should I ask for her # any help would be appreciated!!

Did you do something to impress her or build attraction? Did it look like she was interested in you? Girls at clothing stores usually have to talk about clothes with customers, it's part of their job so not really a sign of her being into you.. but that's something you can work on.

Once you have built that attraction, just find a good pause in the conversation and say "hey listen I need to run, meeting some friends, but you seem cool and I'd like to take you out sometime.. can I get your number?".

Don't be nervous about asking for their number, if they're still talking with you for a little bit they're most likely interested as well.. so just grow a pair and ask for it! ;)

Thanks for the advice! I'd say there was attraction there the clothes talk was sort of an opener. After that we talked about everything from what courses she's taking at UNI my courses to where she's from to what kind of car she drives on and on we talked for about 1/2 hour 45min. Customers would come in she'd get the other girl to take care of them and we'd keep talking. I'd take that to be an ioi but my problem isn't having the balls to ask for her # its asking in a way that seems classy I guess you'd say so I don't ruin the groundwork I've put down. But I like close you mentioned I'll give that a try. thanks for the advice

Its easy; just take your phone out and hand it to her, during conversation. You don't have to say anything; she'll know exactly what to do. Everything else is done; now its time to take things to the next level.

Here's the update I didn't #close. like I've said in previous posts I have trouble #closing after I build rapport with a girl. I always feel like my close has to live up and go beyond my groundwork. Its not a lost cause though because I bought a pair of D&G sunglasses and she threw in a $50 gift certificate. So I figure I'll go back next week I'll make damn sure I am on my game and I'll leave there with her # simple as that.

I totally agree with Joey...this is a very easy step in here, especially because she's been showing interest. If she's making her friend take care of the customers then you have to do something about it quick before she loses interest. You can't maker her wait for too long.

I had a similar experience with a girl that worked at blockbuster. She was always asking me questions about myself, said I reminded her of someone at school and I would end up staying in the store forever talking to her about college etc. I always told myself I was going to get her number the next time I saw her but it seemed like the timing was always off, her coworkers were always there, another customer etc. Then one day she was no longer working there and I never saw her again.....MAKE YOUR MOVE AND QUICKLY!

I know that exact feeling. I was good friends with a waitress I met when I was new in town on the nights that weren't as busy we'd talk until closing time. Then I was gonna get her # but decided the timing wasn't right she quit that night never saw her again. No more f_cking around I've got a reason to go back and I am gonna get her # I'll have to spark up the same interest again but whatever I am gonna get her # simple as that.

I honestly wouldn't even worry about "sparking" interest, make a little chit chat then just like the other poster said, take your phone out and ask for her number or hand her you phone. Don't overthink...you think long you think wrong...Just go for it! GL
