Hi guys, A lot of times girls ask me about my job. As soon as I say that I work in IT, they are like: Ah,yet another boring geek! Then I will have to explain that my position is a managerial one and so forth but then it won't help much. How would you explain your job to look it a lot more interesting and even turn it to a DHV material? I work in IT as a Tech Lead. I also take pictures of models on some weekends, if I get assignments from modeling agencies. How would you say this to make girls interested |

I always tell them I'm an exotic dancer, or if I want to be really silly I say I'm unemployed and live in my dad's basement. They know it's a joke, but it makes them laugh and deflects the question. Unless they're really dumb, then they start asking me where I dance

This. I would go with Lex s. said first, and if they press for a legit answer build up to it, for example.girl: So what do you do for a living you: Ok, get ready [pause] you: I'm a tech lead and take it from there. |

^^ Yep both answers are nice. Mess with them the first time around. Mess with them the second time round. Tell them the truth the third time round. What do you do? I have the best job ever. I'm from the future and I'm looking for a girl. Her name is Sarah Connor. What year is this btw? Haha, no really. Yeah I'm just kidding. I know it's 1994. By now she will probably give up, and if she asks later on when it gets more serious, you can tell her. |

I agree with what everyone else said, it's a good way to teas a girl by making up a funny job at first. One David D uses is, head chef at taco bell, just got employee of the month last month! But after that, if she asks again, no matter what the line of work you do, as long as you talk about it passionately and with energy, and more about how you're having an impact on peoples lives or companies. She will be drawn to what you're saying. |
