Hey, I have trouble knowing when best to leave a text conversation for the best results. Here is an example of the end of a recent text conversation I had with a female. We were talking about someone at our work who is really weird and how she had an awkward encounter with him today and she then asked me if I was happy to be back home for the summer after finishing university. Me: That does sound awkward! I think I would have just nod and smiled Her: That’s what I did! Haha! Just think you’ve got the whole summer with your parents! Me: Only 3 months to go, im literally counting down the days! I cant believe you choose to live at home, you must be crazy Her: Haha! Enjoy it, you have no uni work! Yeah, maybe I’m a little bit crazy! I didn't text back after this. I didn't know what to say without dragging it out so I decided to leave it here. Does this sound about the right time to end the conversation, and should I have texted her and made a reason to go, e.g. I was tired and need to go to bed? |

Nah u shudnt give a reason - keep her guessing. personally, I like to leave them on high note. for instance, whether its messaging or txt if im being particularly funny and getting a lot of lols and theyre really into it.. i'll suddenly stop and say something like "hey, gota fly" (with no explanation) and then cut it off. due to the fact that they r enjoyin the convo the chick may even ask when im back. i'll always be vague "not sure, i'll hola at u" and then make them wait lol in general they tend fall "in love" in ur absence coz they "think about u all the time". its not real love btw, its just a cheap mind trick, but it can get them obessessing about u all the same. hope it works out 4 u. not sure whether u r in the friend zone tho tbh. |

You stopped the conversation at the right time- it's good you didn't text back. The best time to stop a text convo is on a high note. You don't want it to get stale and boring THEN finally stop. End when you're high. Check out the link in my signature for a detailed text game. |

This was fine. Indicators that it's fine to leave a text conversation are things like: The questions stop - a surefire way to keep a text convo going is to make a statement and then ask a question at the end with a question mark. She'll be pushed into answering the question. If she asks a question you can keep it going and build attraction/comfort. Once she stops asking a question and just makes a statement you can leave it, since she's not expecting an answer back. You have reached you goal via texting - If your goal is to set up a meetup, and you've reached that goal, you can leave the text convo. Follow the above rule though to not come across as a complete dick who just texted her for this specific thing, but rather because you're interested in her. Leave on a high note - You can also leave on a high note. If you've texted back and forth quite a bit and she's invested quite a lot you can just end the text convo there on her high note, when her buying temperature is high. This leaves her guessing. But remember to calibrate. Something good to do is to frame your texting from the very beginning. You can text randomly, or you can text according to however long she takes to respond, or you can just have your frame of you check your phone every one and a half hours and text then. Whatever your frame, keep it. Hope this helps. |
