Do you think cognitive behavioral therapy alone can help us pick up girls? Why or why not? Please theoretically elaborate it. Thank you.

Well, that doesn't work, you have to work with your fears, being expose to them to make you able to deal with them and to don't be afraid anymore.
So, that mp3's you download to self-hypnosis doesn't work as far as i know. You have to develop yourself in order to achieve what you want.

If i tell you you are good with woman you'll be better just because of that? No! You'll be just confused because you'll think that you are good but you'll don't understand why you are failing... and at some point you'll notice that you fail with woman and you'll be worse than before, also you'll lost hope on yourself.

So what i recommend you to do is, go out and approach woman. YES it's fucking awkward to talk to strangers when you have no one related to them... NO IT'S NOT! that's what you think it is, and that's will be always your main idea until you try!

Do it, and don't study shit without doing it...

CBT is a useful tool for self improvement and inner game, but its not the only tool available.

CBT is designed to address limiting, or 'maladaptive' core beliefs, and altering these beliefs, once identified, to ones that are more adaptive, or functional.

REBT is similar to CBT, only it places a bit greater emphasis on how emotion factors into the equation of behavior, it is also easier to understand.

Most of you will lack the knowledge and experience to apply CBT effectively. I would say that mindfulness would be a better place to start as it involves acceptance as one of the cornerstones to dealing with a lot of the anxieties we face in everyday life.
