Post subject:  PICK UP GURUS please come in. questions about HB 10/11
i meet this HB 10 in a social gathering last week. invited her to go jogging with me on day 2. kiss close got rejected after jogging. this social gathering is weekly. i was amoged by a guy this week. the girl was russian and he tried to teach her english. he teaches the meaning of "shoving". he said you could shove a dish in the cupboard, or u could shove someone. he pushed me (i am skinny, he is big). the girl was all over the guy in the meeting this week. he number closed her. and he is going to drive to her house for some excuse (fixing her door). i didn't react to the guy because it's my social group. i can't be an asshole cause i don't want to affect my relationship with anyone in the group. plus, i didn't neg or freeze the girl (maybe i did subtly). in my past experience, punishing a girl too obviously can lead to bad reaction. now i just needed some advices. thanks :)

What's the reaction here other than saying [1] being too sweet for women won't excite them; they will perceive you as "needy" and as more of a "provider" to fall back upon than someone who entices her romantically; after all women are usually showered by male attention. Even when they are unattractive, guys will target them thinking they are easier to seduce and therefore they also have big ego. Hence being sweet to them doesn't work. Then [2], punishing them with negs and ignoring for their princessy behaviour also doesn't help; their sense of entitlement allows for no self-reflection so they will just tell themselves you are a jerk, gossip a bit about you to her friends to ruin your reputation, then forget about you. There will always be "White Knights" who try to win her favour by listening to her complaints about your "punishment" and who will confirm her vision that she's right and you are a jerk.

So society has become a scenario where men can't win unless resorting to either global dating or staging a political coup to completely dismantle feminism at the root.

Gathering from the post this guy is some big burly carpenter, you are a skinny wimp. So make yourself known and noticed with other qualities. What's PUA other than the art of projecting qualities that give women thrills, ranging from being beautiful, rich, witty, intelligent, well-travelled, famous, or anything else you have to offer. PUA is about projecting an interesting, intriguing, captivating life-style that will attract women.

Also, she's from Russia. My uncle who is in business with many Russians once said: "In Russia, you'll find more drunk guys on benches at 08.00 in the streets than men on their way to work." Where are the women? Well, one can find them on date sites as they try to make their way out of there. As an official at the European Parliament once said: "It's the age of global dating, the era of the internet. The Berlin Wall has crumbled and the Soviet Union collapsed. I once met a woman from deep Eastern Siberia who saved all her life for a one-way ticket to Paris. A year later she couldn't go out a single night without spending hundreds of euro on expensive drinks - paid for by men." Perhaps this Russian chick is in your group to find provider - who knows!

that is true. it's not a club. it's a friendly social gathering. and i will see all the members regularly. but that's what i think: after having so much pua training, am i going to be cockblocked like that? it's easy to pick up a woman from her male friends. but it's hard to avoid woman going for other men. women are just not gonna stick for one man

I'm a pretty big guy myself so people don't really push me too often. But I have a few rules...

One of them being... someone lays their hands on me and it's not welcome, I lay them on the floor.. Or I atleast attempt to. Bones heal faster than dignity.

yea, you will let it happen again. You just don't think you will as you sit behind your computer and type.

The big boy has you beat on this girl right now it seems. Maybe he will screw himself if he's around here enough. Happens all the time, who knows. If this is a social group where you can make friends, I would value that more than one girl. Be friends with the others in the group and maybe they can introduce you to a girl they know. Maybe another girl you like will join the group.

yea sometimes i think it's better to make friends with everyone. it is very pointless to do some dumb things to draw a girl's attention, especially at the expense of friendship/good relationship with other people. well, i don't really care anymore :P

I would've dropped him like a hot rock. Or taken an ass beating but I bet he wouldn't want to try me twice. I've been beat up before, and before its all said and done I'm sure i'll get beat up again. I'd certainly get my point across though. Sorry dude but the beta comment is way off base. It's pretty beta to let someone dominate you isn't it?? Sorry guys. These terms alpha, beta, AMOG. Skip that BS. This is a real life situation. This guy got dominated trying to keep his "unreactive frame". Oh Jesus.

Life lesson guys. Sometimes you should throw this shit out the window and just be a man. I wouldn't have had time to think about this shit. When he pulled his hand back from that shove my fist would've been following it. Yes do flip out on this guy. Make an example of him. Do that one time in your social circle and you'll no longer be "AMOG'ed". They'll know to just keep their dick beaters off of you. Man it pisses me off when I see some of this stuff. Stick up for yourselves. Nobody else will.

Love the "bones heal faster than dignity" quote. That's one to live by.

That's one of the most retarded things I've ever heard. "I would've dropped him like a hot rock. Or taken an ass beating"? That's exactly what I'm talking about. Keeping your cool and not freaking out like a little bitch. If you're so insecure that you attack somebody just because he gave you a little push then you have some serious growing up to do. If somebody literally attacks you then it's obviously not alpha behavior to shrivel up not do anything, but being the alpha means you're dominate enough to NOT CARE WHAT BETA DOES! He shouldn't be that much of a threat to you! Also, you won't look tough at all if you snap on people like that, you'll just push everyone away (except maybe goth girls :D ).

Are you guys, meaning those talking about "ass beatings" all on the lower ladders of society? Let's forget the convenience of being safely behind a computer and look at the way these scenarios really spin in life.

Let's say one is a lawyer, teacher, politician, you get into a fight. And let's say you win and manage to bring the guy to the floor. What if he fell powerfully on the back of his head and files a complaint against you? What if people in the group testify that you over-reacted with your violence? There is a small chance that starting this fight can ruin your career. Then again, always reasoning from this perspective will make you the wimp that everyone beats up on. Some playful reaction seems a better way out to shielding ones dignity; one ought to carefully examine the situation before starting a serious fight.
