So I'm new to my city and have been here for a few months. With my number at 1. Once I started working I met this girl that also works at the same place. During the weeks I Have developed a NSA/FWB I met from a friend. But the girl at work, I feel is something special. I ended up getting her number and txt on the regular. And we have the same kind of humor and interests. I asked my friend on what he thought of some of the texts (to see if it seemed like she was flirting back and liked me) so I straight up told her how I felt and she gave me the friends speech. Tho it seemed like there's a possibility later once we get to know each other better. Well I said I was fine with being friends. And we still txt and talk at work. She is on vacation right now so we communicate very little. My thought process is i need to try to make her miss me while she is away.

I am a nice guy. I believe in chivalry. I see a lot of great girls with assholes who only want one thing. And with this girl, at this point, I'm not even wanting to sex. I have a crazy feeling inside me. She could be the one (how cheesy that line is) I could wait for the sex. I was in a 5 year dry spell, I can be patient.

So my question is, how can I persuade her to fall for me, or is she and just isn't being honest? At times it seems like she is flirting with me. Or I'm just too naive.

You can't "persuade" a girl to fall for you. The only time you can have a talk with a girl and tell her all about how you feel for her is if what you have will outweigh her now absence of natural chemical attraction. In other words, if you're rich and you act like a bitch and tell her about how in love you are with her before anything has happened between you two, she'll say to herself "well at least he's rich."

What you've done is basically relationship suicide. The whole courtship process is supposed to be organic and seamless. You've tried to engage an emotional experience with an analyzed report in the form of words with a woman. She's being polite. In all honesty, you're probably F'd on this one.
