| Post subject: | Putting rejection into DHV? |
Hi. I just got rejected by a HB8. We were in C1... Anyway, I wanted her to come over to my place (also mentioning she can bring her friends) to trade cooking tips on certain dishes. She can teach me something, and vice versa. She kept pushing it off, but I know she is too nice of a girl to say "No, I am not interested." So, this up coming Valentines day I just simply say..."That's ok if you can't teach me, I wish you did so I can impress my gf who is coming to visit me for Valentines day. But now I guess I'll be taking her out to eat instead." I know she is not interested in me, but at least I leave her with a DHV story to why I was interested in her teaching me how to cook. Do you think this will work? |

To get her interested? Probably not, she'll need more visual evidence---i.e. you walking arm in arm with the HB8 girlfriend you spoke about. You can, if she lets you, go on a bit about how amazing your girlfriend is (make sure she has a NAME, otherwise she'll think you made it up), how she's a great cook and an aerobics instructor, and how you'd like to surprise her by cooking her something you learned recently. Personally, if the chick is uninterested once I get into comfort with her, I don't bother to follow up because I'm revealing some core values about myself at that stage of the game, and if that makes her less attracted then so be it. |
