Post subject:  How should I ask her?
I'm very new to pick up and I've been terrible with girls during my whole life as I've been friend zoned every time I've spoken to a girl.

I'm going out to a club for my 18th birthday and I want to invite a girl but I've no idea how to ask her. How should I text her?

You shouldn't text her.

You should get to know her (if you don't already) and build some familiarity so you don't come across creepy as fuck when you actually ask her.

Once you're friendly enough with her that you're exchanging banter (or texts, or calls, or talking a lot or any other method of communication), you say "Hey, I'm heading to X place on X date with some friends for my birthday. You should join us, it will be fun".

I've known her for like 3 years. I sometimes text her however I stopped recently as I might have been coming across as creepy. I've been showing her less attention.

I meant how should I ask her in what way? Should I start a convo with her via text and ask her or just text her saying "hey I'm going out for my bday" yada yada yada. And should I make it seem like it doesn't matter if she comes?

rule number 1: you can meet a girl four times, if you haven't kissed by that time forget about it!

as for the club/birthday thing: don't go with one girl, invite at least 20 friends and girls and spend some of that precious birthdaymoney (buy a few rounds, get a bottle), or go to a smaller pub and buy a keg, invite the entire class and that popular dj kid to play some records ...

if she likes you she'll be there, and it won't be creepy to invite her since you invited everyone ...

edit: And before you go to college next year, make sure you have read the game, mystery method and watched some of the videos out there. time to reinvent yourself

Haha I met her in school. She had a boyfriend and I didn't make a move. After I left school I didn't speak to her for a year. Messaged her, got number, she came over with friends, smoked weed got drunk, showed me iois. Invited herself round the following week. I messed up, didn't make a move blah blah blah.

I'm going out with loads of guy friends. In a bar setting, I think I can escalate more easily as ill be less nervous and drunk etc. I sorta have oneitis.

I'm glad I've discovered this site so young :D

^ May have been good to include in the initial question? Getting yourself drunk and falling all over her is not the way to impress a girl. Good way to turn them off and embarrass yourself though.

Fuck think I creeped her

I texted her,

"Going down Mayfair for my bday in 2 weeks you down"

She said

"Yeah I'm up for it gotta get a fake I'd though"

Convo flows a bit, I say aight let me know nearer the date

She says "who you gonna ask"

I list all my boys

She says so I'm the only girl then lol

I said bring your friends

Then she says "haha okay I will"

Felt like I creeped her a bit :/ didn't reply to the last text

You're not fucked after your text. Shouldn't have complied when she asked who else is coming- she doesn't need to know the specific answer anyway. Be more playful next time you're texting.
Either way, invite more girls to your party.
