does anyone recommend meeting up with someone theye never seen before in person and the only way they know them is through social / dating sites and theyve shared nothing more than texts or messges....couldnt these dates get akward lol |

More than anything, you'll get flakes. Women use those sites more for an ego boost and on the occasion, for a date. Your best bet is to have her meet you somewhere that you're already doing something. Tell her you're getting a drink at X place at X time. Or you're going on an errand, care to tag along? A full-blown meal is out of the question. |

I disagree girls are online for an ego boost. This is plain wrong if it is a true online dating site. Online is by far the easiest way to pick up chicks. I agree the flake factor is higher, and I agree a full blown meal is unnecessary, but a drink? I say do it. Unless this "online dating site" is facebook or something like that. I'm referring to real online dating sites.

You'll get meet-ups out of online dating. I'm not saying to discard it. I'm saying most women who use it have more fun discriminating the come-ons they receive and being selective than actually taking the offers up as dates. Since you're fishing with a large net, though, you'll get more than a few dates out of it. |
