Post subject:  Trouble Opening at Parties

Hi everyone, I find myself pretty confident. I know I can go up to a girl and open, however after that I do not know what to do. How to build proper rapport. And when to break it.

At the party I went to recently, my friend invited me and I did not know anyone there except for him. I opened all the guys and had good conversations, but I struggled to do much with the girls except saying hi, my name is Bryan, what's your? And nice to meet you. I tried to isolate them, asking : "Can I talk to you over here for a second?" I would get rejected and they would turn their back to me. Now I didn't get frustrated, I'm not afraid of rejection at all(It's no big deal to me). I just want to know how I can turn things around and actually get a number or kiss-close at a party like this without knowing anyone.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Bryan.

Let me see if I can help with this. I'd say a good pickup would go about like this.

1. Opinion opener
2. When she is done giving an opinion, ask for her name, and have her prove herself to you.

Ask about her future career, her childhood, whether she is adventurous... etc. Basically what you are doing is showing that you have standards that she must meet, and in the process she is selling herself to you. The added benefit is that you get to know what type of girl you are dealing with too.

This should be normal conversation, you should try to DHV and neg a little too.

I think it's to soon to move a girl if all you have said is your name., run a routine or so to DHV Before you try to move her

^^^ very true. You need to build some rapport and comfort before you can isolate.

The OP went in for the kill without having any tension build, good opener and some escalating techniques is all you need.

pulling girls over here telling them can i talk to you over here sounds weak. i honestly think you should try to open where you feel confortable not where the pua advice tells you to to become a master pua.
