Post subject:  Struggling to be heard in a noisy environment

Having not been out for a long time, I had forgotten how noisy bars and clubs can be. Even though I'm standing at a normal distance from a girl, I spend so much effort trying to be heard. It's nice that a girl will sometimes turn her ear but when you have to repeat a witty or cocky-funny comment and she isn't looking at you, it just does not have the same effect if she had heard it the first time. It also interrupts the flow.

I find myself concentrating on the volume of my voice that I forget game and I end up talking AFC crap and not even initiating any kino whatsoever. The only solace is that I consciously know I am being incompetent, so I eject myself from a set because I know I've lost it.

So what can you do against the noise?

Talk louder and draw her into you. DO NOT lean into a set... Ever.

Use the volume as an excuse to take her outside.

"Its loud as fuck in here. Come outside with me so we can hear each other." Turn around and start walking. Don't fucking look back. She will follow.

Avoid it. Go somewhere else. You can't run game if you can't talk.

This has a few simple fixes.

1. Talk directly into her ear.
2. Physically escalate
3. Isolate from the group (say let's go to a quieter area)

That's all you need to do.
