so lately i've found myself in many situations at medium sized house parties where i'll try talking with anyone and everyone and....when i do the people around me get quiet so as to listen in on the conversation. it's one of those things where i'm the new guy and everyone else knows each other, so anything i say is intriguing to everyone. i suppose that's all fine, but the thing is when i'm talking to a hot chick that's concerned about her perceived social value she's gonna be very alert to all this taking place and not be as open as i would like. so how do you skirt around this obstacle? how can i have a nice conversation with an hb in this setting without drawing attention? or how can gracefully include everyone else in so as not to put the spot light on her? |

Find a wing man. That can help take some of the pressure off. |
