I was talking with this super fine hottie today along with her mother. Both were wearing low cut tops and both were interested in conversing with me. Neither felt uncomfortable at all and they kept the conversation lively.

And both at several points during the conversation made it a point to adjust their tops to cover their cleavage. I don't understand this behavior, it makes me feel like I'm being a creeper but i wasn't looking at their chests, I kept good eye contact.

I -know- the daughter was attracted to me and I kinda think the mom was too :P So I find it hard to believe that they were uncomfortable and were trying to hide themselves from me, but if they were attracted why would they do something that appears to be a defense mechanism?

Please help, this is driving me crazy!

Who says its necessarily a defence? It could be trying to get your attention to them. Or something of an anti slut defence, where really they are attracted to you, once again don't look into it too much or it'll affect the rapport.

good advice. in similar situations i would usually let it affect me and the interaction would fizzle, but in this particular case i just kept things moving like nothing was out of the ordinary and the energy of the conversation stayed. after i left them i ran into the daughter later and she made it a point to stop me to talk some more. pretty nice feeling when the girl tries to pick you up lol.

as an update, today i ate lunch with a couple different girls and we all had great conversation (again). i paid attention to my eye contact with both of them and noticed i did the same thing, looking directly in their eyes as they talked, never looking at their cleavage. these girls didn't fiddle with themselves not once, and i know the comfort level was the same.

i think maybe the girl from last night had more attraction for me which could be a variable and also i think her n her mom had more cleavage showing. i'm just hoping that by messing with their shirts they're not trying to subconsciously tell me they're uncomfortable around me sexually, or that i'm giving off too much of a sexual vibe.
