recently I went to a movie and dinner with friends and ran into an old family friend that I haven't seen in years, she was shocked and asked if I modeled. after catching up she gave me her number. a week later I texted her she took a day to respond but we agreed to get drinks yesterday she said " I will see you at 6 angel" we had a couple drinks but it was awkward trying to Segway from child friends to potentially more. after the night only hugged and she left. I texted her saying " hey I had fun tonight, you looked pretty by the way. she said "awe, you are the sweetest im kidnapping you" I then said well its not kidnapping if I allow it. texted her since I was at work saying how is you're morning going, are you free Wednesday night im making dinner and drinks at my place. it took her a while to reply saying sorry so busy at work what time? I said lets do 6 she said "I don't think I will be able to because I work so late. finally I said ill be back after work and im hanging in from that point on so evaluate you're schedule and keep me posted, I don't mind doing later but if you have to work early no worries. she ended up texting in the morning saying "Hi!, I got so busy yesterday at work and ended up going out with my cousin" she did not respond to the question at hand, let me know what you guys think, and how I should handle this, I haven't texted her yet. |

Start with the right time to text, When you think she would have reasonable time to herself to reply. Blow off the last conversation completely. Start again with a very short text. Look you've been texting each other back and forth for a few days, you really don’t need to look for reasons to text her again. Start with a warm and simple line that feels good to read. It leaves the conversation open and you’ll be able to know if she’s free to chat too. “Hey, what are you doing?” or even just a smiley face should work perfectly to start a conversation and bring a smile on her face. If she’s busy, she’ll tell you or respond when she has the time. There’s no way you can go wrong with that. At most, end that conversation. "Cool, sounds fun, by the way, pick up wine that goes with chicken, be here by 8!" It was just a "mini" shit test to see how you would react, dismissing it is best. |

Don't be so eager to throw in the towel, give her a few day to chase YOU. Quote: I don't think I will be able to because I work so late.
She did tell you this in advance. If nothing happens, re-open. |
