Met a girl online. Funnest little cuss ever! Haha Super cute, too. We got started well, got her number, we've been txt'ing for a month now. Txt'ing, literally everyday. And it is playful, flirty txt'ing, more flirty from my side than hers. The reason being, she says she's busy with her new career and she wants to focus on that. She doesn't want to start any romantic relationships until she can fully invest in one without the demands of her new career getting in the way. That will be sometime in September. O_O She also lives 900 miles away.
Now, the only reason I'm considering this is because this girl is damn cool in lots of ways. We even have similar long-term career goals. No, I do not have oneitis. I am out and about sarging it up locally a few times a week. If I find someone locally just as cool, this girl 900 miles away is gonna have some fierce competition!
My question is, is this something worth pursuing for that long? I have read the txt guides, and realize the very likely dangers of friendzone. I think, though, if I were this girl's next door neighbor, friendzone would be just as likely considering her current frame of mind. If this is worth a shot, how do I go about it for the rest of summer? My current strategy is to "act" via txt exactly how I would if I were sitting next to her on her couch.

You really can't do anything if she's 900 miles away without visiting her. Idk why you wasted your time in the first place with something you can't take action with. If you're doing more of the flirting then you're clearly the orbiter. You should not be wasting your time texting every day with her...or anyone. You are devaluing your time and making yourself more dependent on someone else to keep your time occupied.
