Post subject:  Sending a gift to an ex

Hi all. I have been doing a lot of reading on these forums and I have decided to create an account and see if I could get some advice. I wasn't sure where to post this so I hope it is in the right section.

My ex broke up with me about a month ago and I want to get her back. For the most part, I have avoided all contact with her and have let her be. I know that she is scheduled to go in for a surgery at the end of this month and I was thinking about mailing her a good luck charm gift a couple days before the scheduled surgery.

I was wondering if this was a good idea or if a simple text the day before would be better? If it's ok to send the gift, would sending it to her work be a problem? I do not have her new home address. Lastly, should I contact her after the surgery to see if she is ok or just let her be and see if she contacts me? I think I shouldn't contact her afterwards but I'm not totally sure on this. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

That would be creepy as fuck man. Yeah, might be a "sweet gesture"... But that will not get her back. What you need to do is go out and start getting other girls. Women want what they can't have. Once she realizes that you are continuing to grow as a man, she will either come crawling back, hoping to be a part of your life... or you will have several other women and you really won't care anymore. There are 7 billion people on this planet. (Half of them being female) To say a relationship with ONE of them is THAT special where you should simply chase after it is absolutely an outrageous statement when you look at it. Even if she is "One in a Million" that means there are 3500 other ones out there just like her.

She ended the relationship with you. Even sending a text is going to let her know that you still care about the relationship. And that is what you DON'T want. She needs to know that you are fine without her. Simply be okay with the fact that it is over and find a new relationship that will get you to the next phase in your life.

Thanks for the reply Majika. I was thinking it might be odd, but she somewhat left the door open to possibly getting back together after her surgery. I guess contacting her to wish her luck was an idea to show her I was still interested. You're right though I should just try and move on and if she is interested in getting back together she'll contact me.

a little idea, but if your have any friends that see both you and her like separately, drop it into there it will get back to her trust ;)

say like how did her surgery go, and when they go oh its at the end of the month, just say well wish her good luck and best wishes for me :)

another good way to test if she wants to stay in touch, if u have a facebook and she still has you as a friend post that you dropped your phone and damaged it and lost numbers can people please text you there names... if she text you then she still wants to be able to get in contact, then you can respond with a thank you, how have you been oh and incase i dont see u good luck etc...

but NO GIFTS DEFO NOT!!!!
