PUA Forum :: How to motivate yourself?

There are days (a lot of them) where I just don't have it in me to approach. I realize that nobody is going to on their game everyday, but I just am really not all that motivated. I was getting IOIs today from this chick in the library. On a good day, I go over there and chat her up but today, I wanted to, but didn't feel like it. Is it because perhaps in that moment I wasn't feeling confident? I feel like my motivation comes in streaks. One week I am collecting numbers another week I don't talk to anyone.

Force yourself to approach and watch how you automatically rely on instinct to work through the set... it's pretty cool how your mind can adapt. You can change feelings from being totally confident to having no confidence at all and vice versa within a matter of seconds. Try it out next time. Consciously tell yourself to approach if you want to approach.
