A good working memory is required when picking on any girl, since you are required to recall your tactics during a situation in which you apply to achieve a specific goal. How good is your working memory, in terms of remembering what the girl is saying, how you remember strategies and tactical moves, or names?

Style explains this the best...

When you first start, you have what is called "Unconscious Incompetence"... Where you are doing things wrong, but you don't realize that you are doing them wrong.

Then you move to what is called "Conscious Incompetence"... Where you are doing things wrong but you realize the things you are doing wrong.

Then you develop what is called "Conscious Competence"... where you start doing things properly once you begin to make a conscious effort to change them.

The final "phase" is what is called "Unconscious Competence"... where you start doing things properly with out even having to think about it.

It is really like muscle memory... things become habit. Your "memory" of what someone is saying is all based on your conversation skills. You have to simply pay attention to what people are saying (vs. simply waiting for your turn to speak) then react appropriately. This requires some effort at first but after a while, it becomes habit.
