So, I'm aware that Skills is the resident "dance guru" here, but I was wondering about another guy. His name is Jessie and he runs a business called "Pick Up Dance", where he essentially teaches his students how to dance in a club (or other) setting. I'm not here to plug his website or anything, but to ask how legit he is. I've recently come into some money, and would love to buy a couple of his DVDs, but I need some real-world advice from people who have invested in said DVDs to give me an approximation of how "good" of a teacher he is, and how talented his teaching style and dance moves are. Also, it just happens that he is located in my city (Toronto) and offers private classes, so it would be convenient, if he is as good as I hear, to take him up on some private classes. Again, I'm not bashing or discrediting Skills. I'm just curious as to what else is out there. |
