Post subject:  I Need All the Help I Can Get!

Alright so I've been browsing the boards, but after over thinking things, losing courage over the years, etc, etc, I finally had to set up an account on here to get some advice.

So I'm 22 years old right now. I've dated a girl for 2 weeks, but she was causing my life all kinds of drama, and it was only going down hill from there. Thats the only girl I've dated in my history. Still a Virgin etc.

Now heres a little bit about myself to give you guys a general idea, and I've read that I should probably be doing the opposite.

I'm one hell of a "nice guy". I've also been that way, and when I try to go a different route etc I find myself just going back to being that nice guy. I'm a gentleman with women. I'm also a little confused on how flirting works. There are a lot of girls that I talk to and hang out with, but I'm afraid to make a move with any of them, because most of us are friends with each other, or I'm also friends with their brother or sisters.

I was very very self concious when I was in my later teens. I realized I was overweight being 192 pounds when I was 15 - 19, but I've lost about 40 pounds and now I look much better, but I still have the low confidence with hearing women talk about guys with six packs my whole life.

Theres a girl I like right now, she is a HB8 perfect body etc. Problem is shes really close to my family and my family is also close with her sister. I don't want to create an awkward situation by hitting on her. Although I would really like to.

I'm working out more, trying to develop a nice look. Have a better attitude with things, but I know the thing I need to work on the most is my approach. I need all kinds of help with Flirting. No ones ever shown me the ropes or gave me an example of what to do. I've read a lot of threads on this forum that give me good ideas, but I don't ever find myself in the right situations to use them.

Can you guys give a Virgin / 2 weeks with a girl guy some advice on what to do, to get to that PUA level I'd like to reach?

I really appreciate any advice!

Stop letting other people control your confidence. Rule #1 and pretty much all you really need to master. The rest comes easy. Easier said than done. Peruse the forum and you'll see that confidence is the key to everything, and all you have to do to have confidence is act like you have it. After awhile, you won't just be acting, you'll be the real deal.

Confidence doesn't come from six pack abs, wealth, prestige, or anything external. Comes from within. All you need to do is train your mind to think in a confident way. If you work at it, you'll get there.

Everyone preaches the same exact shit about confidence. The only way you're ever gonna be confident is if you're pleased with yourself. If a 6pack is what will please you , achieving that will boost your confidence. You should train your mind , granted , but that doesn't mean that working on external factors will do you ANY form of wrong. In fact , achieving external goals will help with your mind training process.

Your right about that. I have to change my mindset. I've been working on that day and night. Thank you for the advice, I'm going to take it, and try my best to become a master of my own confidence. Being picked on in school growing up kind of crippled that side of me. I used to have a lot of it.

Thanks again.

I just have to toughen my resolve and get their physically and mentally.

Thanks for all the advice guys. It's going to help make me a better version of me :)

True that, nothing wrong having six pack abs. Start small, set a goal for yourself you'll go to the gym four times a week for an hour. Doing that for six weeks straight will boost your confidence (because you set a goal and saw it through) and will improve your appearance which obviously helps.

Game is 90% internal 10% external. None of the best guys out there have real exceptional external qualities to them, they just ooze confidence with everything they do.
