PUA Forum :: Do you need game if your above average in looks?

I'm asking because I know quite a few people who go out five nights a week gaming and get very little reward for their efforts, usually women who are overweight and much older.

I have lots of financial problems and go out probably once a month on average but get a same night lay everytime, just wondered if people sometimes underestimate the importance of being physically attractive to women. I'm starting to believe that game alone, cannot get you women, unless there is an underlining attraction to begin with.

What are your thoughts?

I am fortunate to have very good looks. However, I struggled with women most of my life. Studying game has opened my eyes to so much it is mindblowing. Another point, I had become fairly overweight a few years ago and noticed that women stopped checking me out. I lost the weight and the checking me out thing is back. This seemingly contradictory thing is what true game is about: 1) Work on you looks (exercise, lift and dress well) it will help you (visual appeal, energy/vitality AND confidence) 2) Work on game so you can better read and react to IOIs and IODs. 3) Pursue YOUR passion for a living. That is the true alpha way. Everything counts and the more you improve, the more quantity and quality you will get.

Looks help tremendously, but you still have to learn to do some work. The more things you have to your advantage, the less game you will need.

Looks can only get you so far. It doesn't keep you the girl. I have met good looking men who can get the lay but the girls get bored and look elsewhere. These guys are naturals but they are no match for people who learn the game and perfect their sexual skills. While these girls bang the good looking guys once, these same girls will keep coming back to those who know what women want and how to satisfy them in bed time and time again. How do I know this? If you're very attractive then suppose you get IOI's from an HB10, that's good but remember this girls reality is dating very attractive men. Game gives you the edge over the other very attractive men she meets. If you have no skills then the other guy who has will take the prize. Plus HB10's shit tests are practically an art form and a numerous art form at that. If you have any weaknesses in your psychology then she will find it and cause you some emotional reaction which won't be pleasant. Where as a PUA would just say to himself "yeah shit test, yawn, tick that of the list" and stick to his own reality by either just ignoring it or just replying "OK" then continue with what he was saying or doing. If you're approached by HB5-6's never ever be cruel to them. It's a mans job to approach so if these girls have approached you it takes a lot of courage on their part so respect that.
