So yeah. I dunno if you guys have noticed but there is a major economic crisis going on at the moment. In some regions it's worse then in others. But yeah, I have been hit by it and it has been a while between jobs. (And lays) And this always comes up in conversations sooner or later. "So what do you do for a living?" So how do you swing that? Telling her your unemployed is not really sexy. And usually leads to her remembering she's there with others. |

Tell her the cool stuff you like doing in your life. For example, I am not un university.. But when people ask if I study I tell them the cool stuff I read about.. Right now I am studying some book about the effects of stress hormones on the body. Just be cool and proud of whatever you do

Just say, fuck work I prefer to have fun and right now money isn't a problem for me so I'm doing the things I love to do. Either that or tell her you are taking time off to pursue whatever creative endeavour you could think of. |
