Como estas bros? I'm just getting into this whole thing but I'm so pumped to learn this shite. So here's the deal. Went out solo for my first time using PUA techniques and first of all I felt retarded rolling solo but I figured I gotta try some of this stuff if I'm gonna learn it. With some nervousness (I was sweating my social proof being by myself) I tried a few different openers. I was blown away at how easy it was to just start talking to any girl I was around. I even targeted a few and approached them. But.... that's about it. Is it a vast improvement over what I usually do? Definitely. But I had no DHV material. I worked out a story today (the day after) but I'm still struggling here. I'm feeling pretty comfortable with the idea of negs and active disinterest but what can I do to build value initially after the open? Anyone have any ideas, know of any exercises? I'm working through the Annihilation Method (Style) DVD's right now and it's got some good exercises for some of the other shit but it doesn't cover DHV as well as I wish it did. |

I went to out with a female wing Saturday night and found it to be counter productive. It was just her and myself so everyone thought we were together. I'm still pretty new at this stuff too so I guess for it to work properly it has to be a group of people with a few ladies mixed into things. For the DHV stories good things to include are: times you helped out a friend a situation where you took control something about your ex (positive of course) Hope this helps! |

Using a female wingman can work for you very well actually. I'm not sure how long you have been in the game but having a female enter a venue with you is instant preselection, especially if yall are both smiling and having a good time. Its an instant DHV with others girls seeing that because that means that girls are interested in you and you arent a creep, so girls will be interested. Use the girl you go out with to build you up to the girls either while youre next to her or if you leave the group for a second. As long as you dont show any signs you are dating her it should work for you |

I love going out with one of my Girl Friend as my wing. To avoid getting "labeled" as a couple we define our friendship pretty clear to everyone we talk to (she'll open a set, and introduce me as her "little brother" or "best friend" or something along the lines).

Trifecta, Thanks for the suggestions on the DHV stories. Do the stories about an ex really help? I had some concerns that maybe I'd get a reaction like, "He's stuck on his ex." But I know a lot of this stuff is counter-intuitive so if it's proven effective, it is what it is. Flipz, KGB -Thanks for your input as well. Y'all are the shizz. |

I should've gone into more detail about the girlfriend one. I wouldn't talk about it too much but it's good to mention that you have had a girlfriend at some point and that other women can tolerate you haha. Mystery has some good examples of DHV stories where he mentions ex-girlfriends. Although some of his go a lot further than what'd I can picture myself saying! |
