Hi guys
there is this gathering that i go to every week. basically, there is a speaker that comes to talk about religion and there is like 20 to 30 people in the room. I am not religious and i dont go to listen to the speech, I mostly go to meet girls. The girls here are so naturally pretty.
Now I will tell you about the SPAM: since the people here are mostly religious, there is no flirting or sexuality here. most guys are "nice".

anyway, with that in mind, here is the situation: there is this girl that is my favorite. I had been going here for like 8 weeks and I never talked to her. last week, I finally grew some balls and teased her a little. she responded well, i think.
this week, I went again, but I just wasn't in the mood. I don't know what it is, but sometimes, I just cant do it, I dont know if it's my hormones or my nutrition or what. today was one of those days. I think it's also the friends' fault. if a girl is with a friend, i can't do it, because friends tend to be bitches and i dont know how to handle cockblocks.

so today, I completely ignored her.

Now I know what you are thinking, "this is not a big deal, she probably didn't even notice" but she did notice. There was a moment when it was just me and her and her friend in the room. I was in the room, they walked in, I was walking out at the same time. we saw each other at the doorway, and that's where the ignoring happened. it was very obvious that I was ignoring her.

what can I do about this, how can I recover from it?

Recover from what? What did you do that was 'wrong'.

Maybe you were having a bad day, maybe you didn't feel like talking - who gives a shit.

The real problem is that you think that you need to recover... so now, you might find yourself overcompensating next time you see her.

thanks for your replies.

my fear was mainly not knowing how to carry on a conversation. I can start a conversation, but i blank out/run out of things to say within 10 seconds of starting.

Yes, I am thinking she thought "what's wrong with this guy?" or "I thought he liked me?" things of that nature. so can i just act normal the next time i see her? isn't that weird, one day i talk to her, the next day I ignore her, the next day i talk to her?

no - it's not weird.

If you run out of things to say, ask her a couple questions about who she is.

Take the focus off yourself and onto her. Do you know anything about this chick aside from that she is hot?

She could be a total dumbass and waste of time. Qualify her.
