so i told this chick on POF that she seems pretty cool and for her to give me her number and i'll call her sometime. she replied saying 'how about you give me yours and i'll text you mine'. sounds pretty easy. shall i just text her mine and she what does? what would you do? |

It's POF so you really have nothing to lose by giving you her number. If she texts you, cool. If not, oh well. Theres hundreds of other hot chicks to game on POF. |

ok. so she texted me her number with a smily. If she texts you, cool. If not, oh well. Theres hundreds of other hot chicks to game on POF. should i reply straight away saying i'll call her tomorrow or something or call her now? this is where i'm really weak by the way. the initiation and stuff. once the ball is rolling i'm fine. i just hate the first point of contact. anyway - i just told her to tell me when the best time to call her was. i'm calling her tomorrow evening. i have to be honest with you. i really don't enjoy this gaming malarkey. if i was a millionaire i'd just be calling escorts every day. |

The online world is another beast. In my experience, the best thing to do is get to a meet up as soon as possible and escalate. It's easy to lose a girl's interest in the online scene, simply due to time/distance/competitive restraints. My most common mistake was spending too much "Get to know each other" conversations via messages and text. It's good practice at the least. Be direct. If you want to call her now, do so. She's probably just as eager to meet you as you her, putz around with it too much and you'll seem weak or ambiguous. After you've met up, regular rules apply. |
